Message begins:

The tempo of combat operations have been drastically reduced because of a general order to stand down.

Chernarus Defense Forces and Naval Forces have engaged in three separate operations against rebel forces in three regions.

1) On Friday, a part of 1st Bn 4th Separate Light Rifle Brigade was sent to Dolina to clear the town of rebel forces.

The force consisted of four light rifle squads, which advanced in a line from the southwest. Chernarus naval SU-25 ground interdiction fighters provided air cover. Initial contact was heavy with a rebel grenade launcher inflicting several casualties before being destroyed by friendly RPGs.

Command squad successfully maneuvered north and then east to avoid the grenade fire before entering town.

The operation was abandoned when the commander was killed. A BRDM scout car also was destroyed in the operation.

2) On Saturday, a task force assembled from 1st Bn 13th Separate Mountain Motorized Rifle Brigade was ordered to Querenhorst in Werferlingen to eject rebel forces which had taken over the town the night before.

With extremely heavy losses, the task force was unable to complete its mission.  When it was found that reinforcements would be late in arriving at the forward zone, the commander decided to abandon the operation, but was shot by a BMP1 machine gun before he could get his forces to withdraw.

3) On Sunday an element of 2nd Bn Chernarus 10th Tank Brigade was dispatched to Somppi in Hellanmaa with orders to assist in the evacuation of civilians. The evacuation trucks did clear the area, but the commander was killed by rebel QRFs during the retreat. Losses were heavy.
