Summary of Combat Operations, Mar. 26th to April 2nd, Inclusive

Subject: Weekly Summary of Combat Operations, from Mar. 26th to April 2nd, Inclusive.

Message begins:

The tempo of combat operations by Chernarus Defense Forces and Naval Forces, continued at a moderate place.

Chernarus Defense Forces and Naval Forces have engaged in six separate operations against rebel forces in six regions.

1) On Thursday night, a private contractor special forces group was sent to Virolahti to eliminate a local criminal command group and to rescue three prisoners being held by enemy forces there.

The mission failed when the commander was killed in a firefight with rapid reaction forces south of the objective.

2) On Friday a task force with 2nd Bn, Chernarus 2nd Naval Infantry Brigade went to Selakano, Altis, to clear the town of enemy forces.

Losses were extremely light: Command squad lost one and 3rd squad lost one. 2nd squad was cut down to three effectives.

The mission was a complete success with every objective completed.

3) Also on Friday, a task force from 4th Bn, Chernarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade was sent to Adamow to clear the town of enemy forces and to eliminate a criminal command group.

The mission was a success.

Losses were moderate. Command squad lost six, while the other two rifle squads failed to make contact.

The task force commander was killed.

4) On Sunday, a task group from 1st Bn, Chernarus 13th Separate Mountain Motorized Rifle Brigade launched a town clearing operation in Weferlingen.

Losses were extremely heavy with all three rifle squads destroyed. One tank was destroyed and two others were damaged.

The mission was partially accomplished with the criminal command group being eliminated, and the enemy garrison's supply trucks being destroyed.

5) On Tuesday,a task group from 3rd Bn, Chernarus 13th Separate Mountain Motorized Rifle Brigade were ordered clear a town in Cham and to eliminate a criminal command group.

Losses were heavy with 2nd squad being wiped out, and 3rd squad cut down to six. The operation was abandoned when the commander was killed by an unidentified criminal element.

Equipment losses included two of the three BTRs.

6) On Wednesday, a private contractor special forces team was sent to Ol'sha with a mission of eliminating a criminal command element, Yevgeniy Samarchenko and an armed female accomplice, Stanija Babovic.
The operation, with the help of a Chernarus Defense Force attack helicopter, inflicted heavy damage on enemy forces there.



The operation was abandoned when the commander was killed in a firefight.
