The tempo of combat operations continued at a slower pace.
Chernarus Defense Forces, Air Forces and Naval Forces have engaged in five separate operations against rebel forces in three regions.
1) On Friday,In an early night mission a task force went to Balyvitsa in Leskovets to locate and eliminate a criminal command group and clear the town of rebel forces which had taken over.
Losses for the task force were moderate, but the commander was killed and the task force was ordered to withdraw.
Brigade recon staff says they expect rebel forces to continue to hold far western Leskovets.
Because of the rebel attack on Balyvitsa, Chernarus 7th Motorized Rifle Brigade is expected to step up operations in Leskovets in the near future.
2) On Saturday, a Cherarus private contractor special forces team was sent to Beketov on a number of tasks, including the destruction of an advanced ATGM technical.
Most of the team extracted safely but the commander was killed after he was separated from his team.
3) Also on Saturday, 1st Bn Chernarus 7th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade moved to Leskovets in the east to stop an enemy advance in the town of Leskovets. Brigade recon staff detected rebel movement of mobile forces using monitoring of cell phone calls and other means of communication.
Friendly forces held the town, preventing rebel forces from ejecting them from town. Losses were moderate. 2nd squad lost five. 3rd squad lost eight and command squad lost six. The task force commander was killed.
Brigade recon staff says the attempt to overrun Leskovets town was an outlier, and that the main objective for rebel forces still is in the west.
4) A Chernarus task force from 1st Bn, Chernarus 7th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade returned to west Granichak in Leskovets Sunday morning in an operation intended to intercept a large rebel armor force.
The Chernarus task force was withdrawn from Granichak and commenced operations intended to clear the armor block. Most of the original task force left Granichak in orderly fashion and intact.
The tanks and the command squad attempted to clear the armor block, destroying one T-55 tank and one BMP-2 tank
The commander was killed in the subsequent operation.
5) 4th Bn, Chernarus 10th Separate Tank Brigade, part of 43rd Rifle Corps encountered an enemy mobile force heading towards near Klein Malchau in Rosche Thursday night.
In total, friendly forces lost two riflemen, and one BRDM scout car crewman in the fighting. Reports from the site of battle say the rebels lost at least six tanks and as many BMPs and technicals.
10th Tank Brigade recon staff say the battle struck a severe blow against rebel forces in the region.
